We believe in being strong. We train with the intent of improving our overall physical strength. Split into two categories, Powerlifting (Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift) and Weightlifting (Clean and Jerk, and Snatch), we train by progressive overload. That means we slowly increase sub-maximal weight to increase our One Repetition Maximum. By testing and retesting the lifts that are standardized across international and Olympic federations, we ensure we are getting stronger!
We believe in being athletic. We train with the intent of improving work output over time. More classically known as metabolic conditioning or “cardio”, we force intensity with a time component that pushes the pace and forces our cardiovascular system to be able to endure short and/or long term exercise. Using mainly lightly loaded or bodyweight exercises, we reduce the risk of injury and allow to more specifically target stabilizer and core musculature. This improves our ability to workout, get stronger, and burn body fat to showcase lean, well defined and toned muscle.
We believe in a healthy body. We train with the intent of improving our physique and overall body composition. By progressively increasing the volume of work done, we build lean, well defined muscle. By loading and moving our muscles through various ranges of motion we ensure that we define the muscles in their entirety. This not only rounds out your physique to ensure you look your absolute best but, it also ensures that you avoid muscular imbalance which can lead to injury and every day pain.
